Open Wide Bag
We will be making the large bag in class. There is some homework of things that need to be done ahead of time in order to have the bag completed in class.
Please bring:
- Sewing machine in good working order
- Open Wide 2.0 or Open Wide by Annie's pattern
- Main fabric- 1/2 yard
- Lining fabric- 1/2 yard
- Coordinating or contrasting fabric- 1/2 yard
- By Annie' Soft & Stable- 1/2 yard
- Fusible interfacing (like SF101)- 1/4 yard
- Mesh fabric- 14" x 16"
- Handbag zipper- One 18" or longer single-slide zipper
- Fold-over elastic, 20mm- 1 1/2 yards
Optional decorative ribbon- 12.5" of 1" to 2" wide ribbon
- Thread to match fabrics
- Basic sewing supplies
You need to have your fabric pre quilted and all pieces cut and labeled. If you have questions about this step please contact the store before the day of the class. If you do not have this done you will not be able to complete your bag in class.
